5.6 ounce, style 3733 is one of our most popular general purpose fiberglass cloths. This fabric can be layered for more strength. If thickness is needed, layer with chopped strand mat. Full roll is approximately 110 yards. Silane finish.

Fastest shipment ever

From the time I ordered to the time it arrived this was the quickest I’ve ever had a product arrive. Now, I’m not nearly ready to use this cloth. I’m building a cedar strip canoe, 14’. But I did check out the cloth and it’s exactly what I wanted.

Question: Does this fiberglass wet out transparently?

Answer: Yes, if sufficient resin is used, this fabric will cure clear/transparent.

Question: Is this S glass or E glass?

Answer: It is E-glass.

Question: What does the ounces mean?

Answer: It means 6 ounces per square yard. It is actually 5.6 ounce per square yard but the industry just calls it 6 ounce.
