Question: What is the difference between laminating and finishing resin?
Answer: Laminating resin is meant for multiple layers as it remains tacky. There is no need to sand between layers. Finishing resin is typically used for the last layer. It contains wax which provides a hard tack free finish. If doing multiple layers, you will need to sand between each one.
